Synopsis

This is a rewritten work of Natsume Sōseki's masterpiece "I Am a Cat" in the style of contemporary literature. From the perspective of a nameless cat, it depicts the lives and selfishness of humans, along with the somewhat absurdity of everyday life, infused with irony and humor. While retaining the satirical spirit of the original work, it aims to create a text that is accessible to modern readers. #IAmACat #NatsumeSōseki #JapaneseLiterature #ModernLiterature #MasterpieceRewrite #ContemporaryTranslation #ContemporaryRewrite #LiteraryRemake #CatNovel #SatiricalNovel #HumorNovel #LiteraryGiant #Reading #Novel
