Article 1 (Purpose) The purpose of these terms and conditions is to stipulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between WEINOVEL (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and its members regarding the use of the visual novel creation and AI-based content platform service provided by the Company. Article 2 (Definitions) - "Service" refers to all web-based content creation and viewing functions provided by the Company, as well as generation, assistance, editing, translation, and visualization functions utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). - "Member" refers to a person who agrees to these terms and conditions and completes membership registration. - "Content" refers to all text, images, data, visual elements, etc. that a member creates, uploads, generates, or edits within the service. - "AI-Generated Content" refers to content that has been generated, assisted, or transformed by artificial intelligence technology, either solely or partially. - "Credit" refers to a pass for using digital services within the platform. Article 3 (Effect and Modification of Terms) These terms and conditions take effect upon posting on the service screen. The Company may modify the terms and conditions to the extent that they do not violate related laws. In the event of changes to the terms and conditions, they will take effect with the notification of the change in the announcement. Article 4 (Membership Registration) Membership registration is established when the user agrees to the terms and conditions and enters information. The Company may restrict registration in the following cases: - False information, impersonation, or cases that significantly disrupt service operation Article 5 (Provision and Modification of Services) The Company provides services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in principle. All or part of the service may be temporarily suspended due to system maintenance, failures, or technical needs. The Company may change the content of the service to improve AI technology, change policies, or comply with laws. Article 6 (Member's Obligations) Members must not engage in the following activities: - Posting content that violates laws or public morals - Infringing on the copyright, portrait rights, or personality rights of others - Acts of abusing the system or abnormally using AI functions - Causing AI-generated content to be mistaken for human creations, or removing or altering AI indications provided by the Company - Using AI-generated results for illegal or deceptive purposes (fraud, dissemination of false information, etc.) Article 7 (Rights to Content and AI-Generated Content) The copyright of content created or generated by a member belongs to the member. The member agrees that the Company may non-exclusively use the content for service operation, promotion, and technical verification. In the case of AI-generated content, the content may have involved artificial intelligence, and the Company may indicate that it is an AI-generated product in accordance with related laws. The member who posted illegal content or content that infringes on rights is responsible for it. Article 8 (AI-Generated Material Indication and Scope of Responsibility) The Company may notify whether content is AI-generated in a reasonable manner, such as indications within the service, metadata, or watermarks, for content involving artificial intelligence. Members may not arbitrarily delete or change the AI-generated indications provided by the Company. The Company is not responsible for problems caused by members removing or changing the indication for content shared or distributed outside the service. Article 9 (Service Usage Restrictions) The Company may restrict service use or revoke membership without prior notice in the following cases: Violation of these terms and conditions Repeated reports or disputes When there is a clear possibility of legal problems Article 10 (Disclaimer) The company does not intervene in transactions or disputes between members. The company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability for a specific purpose of AI-generated results. The member is solely responsible for the consequences of using AI-generated content. The company is not liable for damages caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters or system failures. Article 11 (Credit Policy) Credits are usage rights for using digital services within the WEINOVEL platform and are not a means of payment with the same value as cash. Credits are paid to the member's account immediately after payment is completed and can be used for service use immediately upon payment. The uses of credits are as follows: - Use of content within the site - AI image generation and editing - AI translation service Other restrictions on paid service credits set by the company are as follows: 1. Refunds after purchasing credits will be processed through the payment method used. 2. Purchased credits cannot be transferred between members. 3. The period for using and canceling/refunding purchased credits is one year. 4. Purchased credits can be used immediately upon purchase. 5. The expiration date for unused credits is 5 years. 6. Credits provided through events or free of charge are excluded from refunds. 7. The company may change the terms and policies of credit use in accordance with the service operation policy, and will notify you through announcements within the service when changes occur. Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction) These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. In the event of a dispute, the competent court shall be the location of the company's head office. Addendum These terms and conditions will take effect on May 1, 2026.
